INTRODUCTION
i was actually looking for an Advanced Hazel or Gaplant Tr-5 but failed so i ended up getting this, and wow, this is one impressive 1/144 kit..:D at first i wasn't expecting much great things from it but it does come pack with a lot, but paint is necessary for it to look decent, so i did paint some of it's parts, all the yellow-orange parts and some black parts.. anyways, on with the review..

HEAD UNIT
the head construction was different, first time for me, hehe, instead of the two halves ,which is the front and back helmet, this thing has the helmet whole then the face (facemask and eyes) are also whole which you will slot under the helmet, no polycaps for the neck but the joint is very nice and stiff, so i think it's very nice..^^

BODY UNIT
the body is pretty solid, not much gimmicks, the only complaint, well personal complaint, about it is that the side skirts are so small, the design should have matched with the front and back skirts, which are very large.anyways, this is just your typical body and waist construction, nothing special..

ARM UNIT
the arms, well, it's pretty nice..feels like an MG cause the shoulder armor is not attached to the arms, i think that's very nice, and the two arms have different designs, the left arm has a small sliding gimmick where you can remove/attach the handles of the beam sabers..it has an issue with holding the HWS shield though, it just can't hold it in place when you pose it, so you'll need to stiffen the shoulder joint (left shoulder), which i did with Tamiya Cement, now it can hold the shield up and hold it in place..^^

LEG UNIT
the legs are also pretty basic, besides the armor, there's nothing special to it..and it requires a lot of painting, all the yellow-orange parts of it should be painted, otherwise those parts will just be all white and all black..and not much articulation, i was expecting more so that i could copy the box art pose, but oh, well..

WEAPONS/BOOSTER/EXTRAS & FINAL VERDICT
now for it's accessories, with this i am really impressed, cause it's like you got two kits for the price of one..:D you can fully build the Nu Gundam (parts swapping), all the weapons and accessories of the Nu Gundam is included, so that was very nice..for the weapons of the HWS, it is very very nice, doesn't require paint to look decent, the shield is a bit heavy but like what i said, all you need is to stiffen the joints on the left shoulder..^^ the fin funnels are great, it's like the MG's, it can all be separated and transformed, though it doesn't come with any rods to attach it on so it can't really be used for attack poses..^^; and unsurprisingly, it is back heavy but could easily be fixed by attaching him to an action base..^^
overall, this is one impressive kit..for a 1/144 it's pretty big, it comes with a lot of extra stuff and it's only around $30, this is definitely one of the all-time best kits you could get..:D
