INTRODUCTION
Stargazer. The series which was offered as an online animation brings us a few new mobile suits. One of them is the Verde Buster piloted by Shams Coza. This kit is funny on the way it is provided so lets go through the details.

HEAD UNIT
How can I put this? Ahh, yes.....Buster Gundam's head with a baseball visor mask. LOL. That's what I think about it. The head is made of 2 parts for the main head (no polycaps for the joint to the shoulder), 2 pieces of antennae and a visor (the baseball visor). Still, you do get parts to build the Buster's head which is the anttenae.

BODY UNIT
Ahh yes. Quite detailed for a HG but a 1/100 might be better. Well basically this is an armored Buster's body. You assemble the basic Buster shape and then you add extra armors. If you can read katakana in japanese, you may find that some of the runners are labelled "BUSTER GUNDAM" and some extra parts for the armor and stuffs are "VERDE BUSTER GUNDAM". Interesting.

ARM UNIT
I wonder myself if Seed Gundams follow UC Gundams. Their arms are like the ones from UC. The bend at the intersection is made to sway sidewards rather than moving upwards and/or downwards. But you can turn the arm around.

LEG UNIT
I feel that the legs are quite flimsy. Although it is still Buster's legs with extra parts, the armor itself proves nothing but decoratives. You dont actually get extra balance from the extra parts and thus came the base that came along with it.

WEAPONS/BOOSTER/EXTRAS & FINAL VERDICT
I LOVE HIS GUNS. Yeah his 2 guns are really amazing. Made to become a shooter or a blade these guns rock. Though you still get the original Buster's cannons sticking on his shoulders with extra armors on it. Well, this is a good kit and I liked the way Bandai engineered it. Its like 2 kits in 1 (though not sure if you can complete standard Buster). I also have the HG 1/144 Blu Duel unassembled and I checked the runners. Some are labelled BLU DUEL GUNDAM and some DUEL GUNDAM. This goes to like 1000 yen of Buster parts, 500 extra yen for the Verde parts and 100 yen for the base. 1600 yen.
