INTRODUCTION

Alright, I think I am moving backwards but who cares. I assembled Virtues first. So now I am gonna tell a tale of a bird like Gundam from the Double 0 series. There's nothing much I can say about this one except that this kit seriously needs some detailing of your own (impossible for a mere collector like me). 1 man, 2 personalities pilot this machine, Alelujah and Halelujah Haptism.

HEAD UNIT

Well, basically, Double 0 Gundams come with standard head designs. Like it or not, they are just exactly the same shape with detail alterings. The head is similar to Exia's design in most ways except the colour of the mouth plate and the horn on the back top of its head. Very Funny.

BODY UNIT

The GN Drive is usual with the Green stickers and the clear part in the center of the chest is still similar with the other Gundams. Bright orange are the colours of his body. Other than that, he is quite identical to Exia and most prolly Dynames.

ARM UNIT

The arm is usual fare for Double 0 Gundams. GN Drive on the side of each arm makes it look identical to each other. The arms are pretty nice and firm and can hold the beam machinegun nicely. I haven't tried the sabers but they might work though. Still, fingers are still persisting problems with limited articulation.

LEG UNIT

Legs are particularly interesting with transforming capabilities. But the problem lies with the lack of details on the wings on the knees. I love how the foot is made and it is different from the previous Double 0 kits. Though, the most obvious detail, the gray lining on the wings were absent so painters, do your job.

WEAPONS/BOOSTER/EXTRAS & FINAL VERDICT

Weapons.......Beam Saber, Beam Machinegun, Dual Unit (shield). These are all. The Machinegun looks nice and it is fully gray. The Dual Unit is a shield and opens to reveal a claw and a mini blade thingy that Hallelujah used to stab a Space Tieren in Episode 10 or so. Good weapons all over and I like it though the extra 400 yen doesnt give it much value as details are quite lacking here.

Interesting look to this Gundam, can't help but think it was partly inspired by the S-Gundam :)

BTW RedRacer, have you tried panel line washes? eg using a sharpie/gundam marker to draw in the panel line then wiping it clean so the panel lines standout. I thought that technique looked pretty good on my Non Grade S Gundam. I'll see if I can find some tutorial online for you if you're interested

Nice complete accurate detailing on S-Gundam Non Grade. Does this guy seperate alas the MG version? And I got a very funny question, does the MG EX-S splittable like the MG S Gundam? Coz I noticed that EX-S is an armored S, so by removing armors, it is a complete replica of S. Though some guys and review webs told that it ain't seperable just like Full Armor ZZ VS ZZ Gundam MG kits. I still have yet to clarify but for the MG Full Armor ZZ, I feel it is transformable to G Fortress at least but not too sure it can be seperated to its core components though reviews from many sources including Dalong I remember said no.

The non graded S-Gundam does not seperate or transform at all. The MG EX-S though does have like 99% of the pieces needed to make a standard MG S-Gundam. The only parts missing that I've noticed were the exhaust fins at the back of the calfs. I would need to check against a MG S-Gundam manual to see if there were any additional parts missing. However if Dalong and other sources are saying it can't be done, they are probably right. Perhaps a hook or two are missing from the EX-S.

Well thks for the info Vince. But just one thing, how come when we build the MG FAZZ Gundams (either White or Blue), the standard interior is still similar to an MG ZZ, Dalong and some other sites say the white one transforms but the blue one doesn't. I noticed and compared it. It's 90% of ZZ MG coz I had both. I bought the ZZ MG First then found out what I wanted was the FAZZ but the price wasn't much of my budget so I found it later. I tried transferring the armor parts from the FA to the normal, though it works, you still need some special slots only available in the FA but I don't see anything hindering transformation.

Hey RedRacer if you ever decide to upload pictures I've updated the site so it will accept large images file sizes and resize them automatically once uploaded.

Sure I will om Kyrios and the L Gaim. Going to assemble my Dynames pretty soon. And I will try buying the MG GP02a Coating and make some pictures of the GP 01fb coating and the 02 coating posed in fight scenes and individually. Hope I got enough cash to buy the action bases too.
