This is the very first time i am going to write a review. : ) And this is the very first 1/100 gunpla that i have painted using air brush. So i'm going to write a review and some minor tips on how to paint it. (based on my experience). : )

The head of the 00 Gundam has a very nice design. Although on the kit, the V fin is quite thick. If you want to make it MG like, i suggest you use some abrasives on it. While the over-all construction of it is almost MG like. The grey part on the face is a separate piece. For an NG, that's something. There are a lot of clear pieces here also. If you're good at installing LEDs, this gunpla is going to be fun for you. If you're planning on painting it, i suggest you use some liquid cement on the seam at the top. That way it would look good. I didn't do that.. Now i'm having my regrets.. : )

The Body unit.... I was kinda disappointed with the body.. First, it doesn't look like the one in the anime or PG (which is already released). Like, how the placement of the cockpit is very wrong. Second, NO articulation on the waist.. Yes, the body and the waist is ONE. Though the chest is movable. But only to a certain extent. It's not pure Bad though. The yellow piece on the chest is a separate part. So you won't have trouble painting it. As for painting it, it's quite easy to paint it. I suggest you use a liquid cement again on the body's frame. Because the seam is obvious on the crotch area.

Quite excellent if i might say. It has a total of 7 articulation. Really nice advantage when it comes to action poses. It also has 2 sets of hands. One that can grab weapons. And closed-fist hands. It would have been a 10 if they included an open-fist. : )

It's quite impressive actually. This is one of those NGs that's becoming MG like. The joint connecting the legs to the waist has 2 joints. One to move forward/backward and another to rotate it horizontally. It's even better than the ones that MG Seeds has. 2 articulation on the knees. Another MG like characteristic. And, almost every part of it has the right color. Not much to mask if you're going to paint it. My only rant here is that the parts are so intact to each other. I know for some of you guys that would be great, but, the plastics are really scratching each other.. :S So if you're going to paint it, look for those parts and try to use abrasives to level it just right. : ) That way your paint won't get scratched.

Weapons- mine is not the designer's ver. So i don't have the GN Sword III. I suggest, if you're going to buy this kit, buy the designer's ver. So you can have the GN Sword III. Although, the 4 swords that 00 Gundam has is not bad.. He can only handle 2 at a time anyway.. : )

Booster Pack- Not much boosters.. :s it's kinda sad.. Though i understand why.. All of those GN theories that they're using.. : )

Extras- Twin GN Drives that has LEDs is just FTW! And if you get the designer's ver., you can also get another LED for the head.

Overall, i think this gunpla is great. (It should be, based on his price). :D It's a great build. You'll notice some MG like characteristics in almost all of it's parts. And, when you dock the 0 Raiser to it, surprisingly, it's not back-heavy.

I wanted to add the 0 Raiser to this review but, i still haven't painted it. And it's not included in my pictures. So maybe next time.. : )
